Bumbo, like Dumbo

Blakeley has started enjoying sitting up more to see the world so we tried out the Bumbo seat for the first time...it was hard work for her but I think she liked it! (It has an elephant on it and ironically she was wearing her elephant pajamas.)

Water Park with Friends

The Mroz family came to visit us in Columbus--it was so great to spend time with Aimie, Sophie, Jeff, & Aida. We played at an indoor water park--we'll everyone except Blakeley and myself, but we still had fun watching everyone in the water. I thought she was too young for the water although we saw a couple babies as little as her taking to the water...maybe next time!

Play time!

We got a play gym for Blakeley awhile ago. At first she just laid there and stared at the bee but now she is interacting with the toys...batting, kicking and talking to them. It is so much fun to watch her discover new things!

2 Months Old!

Blakeley is 2 months old! She has grown so much in the past month...she is now 11lbs. 10oz. and 23 1/2" long! She is moving with purpose now...brings her hands to her mouth all the time, grabs toys, rubs her eyes, and more. She is also "talking" to us and screaming in delight. She holds her head up and likes to sit up with support. She is so much fun!

The Thomas family made the big trip from Michigan to come visit. We had a great time, as usual!

Best Friends Forever!

We went to lunch at Katzinger's Deli located in German Village, just south of downtown Columbus; it is very similar to Zingerman's Deli in Ann Arbor. It was a rainy day so we went to COSI, along with every other family in Columbus that day! ;) It was very busy but we managed to see a lot of the museum...

Marcella & Blakeley enjoyed the Gadgets section.

John & Casey enjoyed the "Progress" section...Linnaea & I thought that we had lost them in the giant museum...we found them playing checkers in 1898!

We love spending time with the Thomas family!!!
